The people listed in this biographical website have stories that can be joyful, tragic, educational, and amusing, and most give us insights into the development of our present-day Yukon.

The Yukon Who Is Who site has received plenty of support, especially from retired Yukon archaeologist and champion proof-reader Ruth Gottardt and the Yukon government Heritage Resources Fund.

The entries are not meant to be the final word, but instead the beginning of more conversations and research. Yukon has a wealth of sources for information about Yukon history including books, newspaper articles and series, magazines, and internet pages and sites. I will single out Murray Lundberg and the amazing crew that supports and grows the ExploreNorth website, and Sam Holloway and Dianne Green for their Yukon Reader and Yukoner Magazine. And of course, our very own treasure house, the Yukon Archives.
