 Nora Garside, nee Scott (1910 – 1993)
 Nora Scott was born in Oldham, Lancashire, England. She was active in the Girl Guides starting at the age of twelve. Ron and Nora Garside came to the Yukon in 1958 to work at the Chooutla Indian Residential School. +The Old Log Church Museum was founded in 1962 by Flo Wyard, Nora Garside and other volunteers in the Church Historical Society.  Nora continued to be active with the Girl Guides in Whitehorse, being the District Commissioner for Yukon, Programme Commissioner and Guide Archivist. She was awarded the Medal of Merit and was named an honorary life member in 1980. Garside was a founding member of the Golden Age Society, Yukon Council on Aging, Church Heritage Society, Yukon Historical and Museums Association, and helped establish the Old Log Church Museum with Flo Whyard.
