| Annette Sinclair has Metis heritage with family roots in northern Manitoba. She holds a degree in Business Administration/Management and in 2021 was working on Masters in Heritage and Cultural Resource Management. She owned a tourism business in Haines Junction and, after retirement, taught as a substitute teacher at the community school. She is a volunteer for the Yukon Historical and Museums Association (YHMA), the Thompson Centre, and the Whistle bend Continuing Care Facility. She is on the Board of the Yukon Heritage Resources Board.
