Albert J. Cudlip (1864 - 1907)
	
Albert Cudlip was the son of Hon. J.W. Cudlip. He was a sergeant with the Royal North-West Mounted Police and, starting in 1905, in charge of the Forty Mile police post. He and his wife, Annie, lived across the slough at Forty Mile. He was one of the oldest non-commissioned officers in point of service. Cudlip took over command of the Forty Mile detachment after the previous commander, Sergeant A. L. Holmes, died from heart disease.
