Cesare “Cece” Carlucci (1917 – 2008)
	
Cece Carlucci was one of the flag bearers at the opening of the Alaska Highway at Soldier's Summit. He was a veteran of the 18th Army Engineers.((//The Transporter,// Yukon Transportation Museum newsletter, Fall 2000.)) He served as a sergeant in the United States Army for four years. Carlucci was a professional baseball umpire in the Pacific Coast League for fifteen years. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame Pacific Coast League in 2003, the first umpire inductee.
