Daniel Janke is a musician, recording engineer and composer based in Whitehorse. He has composed music for concert, theatre, film and dance. He is an accomplished pianist whose style is informed by gospel, contemporary and world music traditions.((“Daniel Janke – Piano.” Winter Trio, 2020 website: http://wintertrio.com/daniel-janke-piano.)) He directed the film //Subconscious Password// for the National Film Board and it was short-listed for a 2014 Oscar Award in animation. //The Grubstake Remix// toured Canada and was presented at the Babylon Theatre in Berlin, Germany. Janke has recorded with numerous artists and his 1995 release //In A Room// was critically acclaimed.
