Joseph Kyikavichik (1880 - 1972)

Reverend Joseph Kyikavichik was taught by Reverend Robert McDonald and became a catechist and then a lay minister in the Anglican Church.((Hannah Tolman, ed., //Women of the Anglican Church in the Yukon.// Whitehorse: The Old Log Church Museum, 2019: 18-19.)) In 1918, Bishop Stringer asked Joseph to lead the services in Old Crow, and together with the missionaries who came and went, he carried on the work of the church for fifty years.
