Rick Carp opened the first McDonald’s in the Yukon in 1986 and continued to be a force in the Whitehorse business community for over thirty years. He served as president of the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce, for fourteen years, and as president of the Jewish Cultural Society of the Yukon.
