Agnes Mills (b. 1936)
	
Agnes Mills is a Vuntut Gwitchin Elder. She attended a residential school outside her community of Old Crow until she was thirteen. When the school was affected by a wave of tuberculosis, Agnes was sent to a hospital in Aklavik for three years.((Haley Ritchie, “Coming together: How Old Crow became one of the first communities in the world to be fully vaccinated.” //Yukon News// (Whitehorse), 11 May 2021.))
	
Agnes has worked to advance the rights of Indigenous people as the National Elder of the Thunderbird Partnership Foundation.((“Meet this year’s inductees to the Order of Yukon.”// CBC News,// 5 December 2020.)) Agnes Mills was indicted into the Order of Yukon in 2020.
