Sidney W. May (1907 - 1974)
	
Sidney May joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in November 1928.((//Moccasin Telegraph,// web newsletter edition 261, 3 August 2008.)) He was a member of the RCMP patrol that captured “Mad Trapper” Johnson in 1932.(("Employees of the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corporation." Dawson City Museum and Historical Society files, 992.8.115)) He wrote a patrol report as a member of the pursuing posse called "Old Crow YT to Le Pierre House YT and return March 11, 1932."((//Moccasin Telegraph,// web newsletter edition 261, 3 August 2008.))
	
May was dismissed from the police in June 1933 for marrying without permission.((//Moccasin Telegraph,// web newsletter edition 261, 3 August 2008.)) He worked for Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp for 32 years starting in 1934.((Pretoria Butterworth, "Employees of the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corporation." Dawson City Museum and Historical Society files, 992.8.115)) In 1966, he moved to Kamloops where he worked for Lornex Mines, again as a mechanic.((//Moccasin Telegraph,// web newsletter edition 261, 3 August 2008.))
