Diane Strand
	
Diane Strand is a citizen of the Champagne & Aishihik First Nations. Her grandmother, Annie Ned, taught her family to sing and dance and Strand was an eager pupil. Diane and her sisters started the Dakwakada Dancers in 1988/89. She has served as a chief of her First Nation and as director of the Department of Language, Culture & Heritage.
