Michael G. Stutter (b. 1931)
	
Mike Stutter was born in Alesford, England. He immigrated to Canada in 1948 and gained employment with Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp (YCGC) at the North Fork Power Plant. He met Ben Warnsby there and they became friends and business partners.((Michael Gates, "Four are honoured by Yukon Transportation Hall of Fame." //Yukon News// (Whitehorse), 5 June 2015.)) They operated the Brainstorm Freighting Services from 1961 to 1974. Their riverboat, the //Brain Storm,// carried goods and supplies to Old Crow along the 700 miles of the Yukon and Porcupine rivers. There were two owners of the boat before them, but they were the ones who made it into a business. Warnsby and Stutter were partners in a number of enterprises over the years. In 1970, Stutter ran for political office in the Yukon election and won over Tony Penikett and Fabien Salois in the Dawson riding.(("Penikett victim of bureaucratic blood bath." //Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 6 June 2001.)) In 1972, he replaced Don Taylor on the Yukon Financial Advisory Committee.((Yukon Nuggets, “Other News from 1972.” 2020 website: https://yukonnuggets.com/archived-news-headlines/other-news-from-1972)) Stutter did not run in 1974. Between 1986 and 1995, he served on the Environmental Impact Review Board (EIRB).
