Mary Vittrekwa (1907 - 1996)
	
Mary Vittrekwa, Joe Henry, and Joe Martin were adopted by a family and raised together. Mary Vittrekwa always talked about Blackstone which she remembered from her youth.((Mary Jane Moses, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in newsletter, May 2012.)) She did not return to the country she grew up in until the Dempster Highway was built. Then she came back at every opportunity, reconnecting with family and friends.((Mary Jane Moses, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in newsletter, May 2012.)) When she died, she had 186 living relatives.
