James Wood (d. 1956)
	
Jimmy Wood was the son of Ellen and Jonathan Wood and the nephew of Chief Isaac of Dawson. Jimmy was sent to the Carcross residential school. In 1912, Principal E. D. Evans, installed a small printing press to print the school paper. Jimmie Woods, one of the school's brightest students, was selected as foreman of the print shop. Evens placed him in the //Skagway Daily Alaskan// to acquire the intricacies of the trade.(("School paper." //The Weekly Star// (Whitehorse), 31 May 1912.)) 

Jimmy Wood was the lay reader and catechist at Moosehide in 1948.((Manuscript "Summery of the Anglican Church in Yukon" by Archdeacon Allan Haldenby of Dawson in 1957 and updated by Lee Sax and Bishop Ronald Ferris in 1991.))
