Alexander Anderson Reverend Alexander Anderson was in charge of Dawson’s St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral for a year and was in charge of the Moosehide mission from 1935 to 1938. In 1938 he travelled to England to plead the cause of Canadian missions. In May 1939, he announced his ministry as Rector of Christ Church in Whitehorse.((//The Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 12 May 1939.)) After a lapse of years, Rev. Anderson re-established a day school for Indigenous children.((//The Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 19 May 1939.)) He gave thirty-two lantern slide lectures during the summer of 1939.
