Gloria Christine Adamson, Nunshia (1960 – 2013)

Gloria Adamson was born in Whitehorse to parents Irene Slim Adamson, Ooh-kha-tzun and John Wesley Adamson, Kha-gho. Her large family was under the guidance of her grandparents Celia and Frankie Jim and Gloria’s priority was her son, daughter and grandchildren. Her siblings include Hazel Bunbury, Shirley Adamson, Norman Adamson, Pamela Adamson Fok, Sandra DeWeert and Kevin Adamson. Ranj Pillai is her son in law. Gloria attended Whitehorse public schools and completed her secondary education in Aboriginal Governance in Vancouver. She worked with YANSI, CYI(CYFN), and then Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. She was a television producer for Nadaa and created many great shows. She was working with the Yukon Resolution Board at the end of her life.((Celebration of Life pamphlet.))
