John “Jack” Adair Jack Adair partnered with Joe Walsh and William Bramley to mine on Duncan Creek in the Mayo District in 1913 and 1914. Joe Walsh walked a drill all the way from Dawson on the winter road. He and partners William Bramley and Jack Adair used the drill on Duncan Creek and later on at Rodin Creek. The prospects were good on Duncan Creek, but the mine was unsuccessful. Adair was living at Minto Bridge between the mid-1910s and early 1920s. In the 1920s he mined and prospected in the Keno Hill area. He owned the Punch silver claim in May 1925 and optioned the property to the Treadwell Yukon Company. He got it back later when no ore was found. ((Linda E.T. MacDonald and Lynette R. Bleiler, //Gold & Galena.// Mayo: Mayo Historical Society, 1990: 43-44, 96, 213, 334, 466.))
