Harold Walter Butler (b. 1876)
	
Harold Butler was born in the United States. He was a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers in 1898 and was a grocer in Dawson in 1903.((Yukon Archives, Yukon genealogy website.)) He was working on the government telegraph service in September 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.((Library and Archives Yukon, Attestation Paper, WWI Reg. #2004516. 19 September 1916 at Dawson.))
