W. T. Bragg Captain Bragg was from Victoria. In 1898 he was the captain of the sternwheeler //Ora,// working for the Bennett Lake and Klondike Navigation Company.((Jerry E. The Victoria merchants were happy with the //Ora’//s success as she was the first boat out and back to Dawson with provisions.((//Victoria Daily Colonist// (Victoria), 17 July 1898.)) In 1901, Captain Bragg was master of the sternwheeler //Bailey// owned by the Canadian Development Company. The //Bailey// was assigned to the Big Salmon River run and was tied up at Whitehorse most of the 1902 season. It may have been owned by the British Yukon Navigation Co.
