Dylan Cousins (b. 2001) Dylan Cousins was born to parents Sue Bogle and Mike Cousins and raised in Whitehorse. After being injured in a house league game he moved to British Columbia with his family for more opportunities to play with his age group. Dylan attended the Delta Hockey Academy and was taken by the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Lethbridge Hurricanes. He received the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy for being the top first-year WHL player. Dylan the first Yukon hockey player to be a first-round WHL draft pick, a first-round NHL draft pick, and a member of the Canada men’s national junior ice hocket team. Cozens joined the Buffalo Sabres for the 2020/21 season and made his NHL debut in mid-January 2021. Dylan plays centre.
