Harry Chapman (d. 1945) Harry Chapman arrived in the Yukon in 1897 and was with the Whitehorse detachments of the Royal North-West Mounted Police in Whitehorse for a number of years. He was reportedly the first man to build a steamboat at the headwaters of the Yukon River.
