John Stanley “Jack” Chisholm (1875 – 1918) Jack Chisholm arrived in Dawson in 1898. He and his brother Jim were logging contractors in the Klondike. Jack was a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers and a member of the Dawson Masonic Lodge. He and his wife, Rose “Hattie” nee Bell, bought tickets for Vancouver and drowned in 1918 when the //Princess Sophia// sank in the Lynn Canal.((The Maritime Museum of British Columbia, //SS Princess Sophia: Those Who Perished.// 2018: 48.))
