John “Jack” Davidson Craig (1876 - 1931)
	
Jack Craig joined the office of the Canadian Surveyor General in 1900 and served five years in western Canada as a Dominion Land Surveyor. In 1905, he was transferred to the International Boundary Commission and between 1909 and 1913 was the leader of the Canadian Boundary Survey on seven US Canadian boundary survey expeditions to mark the boundary along the 141st meridian.((“John Craig collection, Administrative / Biological History.”  UK Archives Hub, 2024 website:  John Craig collection - Archives Hub (jisc.ac.uk) ))
