John A. Davies (1885 – 1987) John Davies was born in Kidsgrove Staffordshire, England. He immigrated to Canada in 1909 and studied at Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. He was ordained in April 1913 and became the rector of Dawson’s St. Paul's Anglican Church.((Yukon Archives, biographical sketch.)) Reverend J. A.
