In 1903, Captain Douglas was the master of the steamer //Tyrell,// in the spring of 1907 he was master of the //Charles H. Hamilton,// in 1908 he was master of the //John C. In 1918, Captain Douglas was master of the //Nasutlin// and working for White Pass & Yukon Route. He lived in Dawson and bought a ticket to Vancouver at the end of the season.
