Maryne Dumaine (b.1980) Maryne Dumaine was born in Paris and came to the Yukon in 2004. She worked with Yukon francophone organizations in various capacities. She connected with Les Essentielles through a painting workshop and was president of the group from 2019 to 2025. In 2018, Maryne became the director of //l'Aurore boréale//, the Yukon francophone newspaper. In 2025, l’Aurore boréale received three distinctions at the 2025 Gala of the Francophone Press Excellence Awards including the prestigious Newspaper of the Year.
