He left the Klondike to mine at Livingstone in 1907. //Polks Gazetteer// listed him as a Dawson resident in 1915.((Yukon Archives, Yukon Genealogy database.)) He was mining at Livingstone Creek in October 1916 when he enlisted in Whitehorse for service in the First World War.((Library and Archives Canada, Attestation Paper.
