Arthur Frederick Engelhardt Arthur Engelhardt was a custom broker at the Chilkoot summit in 1898. He travelled to the Klondike at some later date with his wife Frances where he was a partner in a Dawson brokerage company. In May 1912, he started working in the office of the Territorial Treasurer and in 1915 he was the clerk for the Yukon Council. Engelhardt was affiliated with the Arctic Brotherhood.
