John Erikson came north 1895. He staked Claim #9 on Bonanza Creek.((Dawson City Museum, Yukon Order of Pioneers microfilm.)) He also staked claim No 10 Eldorado. John Erikson later became the president of the Seattle Bank. A descendant, Robert E. Johnson of Arcata California, sent many photos of his mining operation to the Dawson City Museum.((Dawson City Museum, John Gould notes.))
