Cora Louise Grant, nee Sheaves (1930 – 2020)
	
Cora Grant was born in New Westminster, British Columbia. In the 1950s she travelled to Skagway on the //Princess Louise// and worked at Bennett during the summers. She met Moe Grant on her trips into Carcross. They married in 1953 and moved to Whitehorse where they lived in a house built in 1901. They had two boys, George and David. Cora collected antiques and sold them from the house. Her sign was a familiar Whitehorse site: Old Stuff, Collectibles and Antiques. She restored furniture and was a talented artist. Cora spent many hours at her cabin on Schwatka Lake and enjoyed being there in February when the chickadees were active during the longer days.((“Cora Louise Grant.” //Yukon News// (Whitehorse), 21 February 2020.))
