George Alphonse Green (1874 – 1933)
	
George Green was born in Canada. He moved to Seattle in 1894 and then came north in 1899. He became the master of the sternwheeler //Reliance.// He was the master of the //Reliance// sailing into Fairbanks, Alaska in 1914. In 1920, he was captain of the //Tanana.// In 1926, he became the manager of Alaska Rivers Navigation Co. on the Kuskokwim River in Alaska. George Green died in Seattle.((Jerry E.
