Jane Gaffin (1942 - 2015)

She stayed at the //Star// for three years as a columnist and advertising manager before moving on to Anchorage to work for a newspaper there. Her articles appeared in the Whitehorse newspapers, and some were syndicated in national and international publications. Jane Gaffin was the first woman to be on the executive of the Yukon Chamber of Mines.
