Margaret Glazier, nee Nieman (1950 – 1998) Margaret Glazier was born in Whitehorse to Agnes and Paul Nieman; the fifth of nine children. Her heritage was Ahtna and she was a descendant of Copper Chief. For the last ten years of her life she was Chief of the White River First Nation (WRFN). During her term of office, she oversaw the formal separation and recognition of WRFN as a separate legal entity.
