Paul Gowdie Paul Gowdie grew up in Montreal and came to the Yukon in 1999 via Whistler, British Columbia. Gowdie took up photography in 1988 and studied photography at Dawson College, Montreal, specializing in cinema and media communications. He later moved to Victoria and studied at the Western Academy of Photography. He graduated in 1998 and was awarded Best in Camera Technique and an honourable mention for his portfolio. His creative works have been published in //Canadian Geographic, UP Here,// the Aboriginal Television Network, and the CBC. He started working with digital media in 2000. His first exhibit in Whitehorse was a show of figurative nudes called //Holy Body Tattoo// in 2002.
