Alva Hallett was born in New Brunswick.((Library and Archives, Attestation Paper, WWI Reg. #1015563. 1 July 1916 in Sidney.)) In 1907, 1909-10 and 1911-12, he was a teamster in Dawson for Isaac Lusk.((Rasmussen Library, //Alaska Yukon Gazetteers// 1901 to 1912 index.))
