William Frederick Harrison (1869 - 1929) William Harrison was born in San Francisco. He was a law student in Dawson, and he mined and prospected from 1898 to 1901. He became the chief clerk in the office of the Crown prosecutor in Dawson from 1902-1911 when he left to practice law in Ruby, Alaska.((Evangeline Atwood and Robert N.
