Charles Jeanneret (1860 – 1943) Charles Jeanneret was born on the border of France and Switzerland. He took up the trade of engraving and eventually moved to Paris before emigrating to the United States and then Canada. He mined on Dominion Creek and then worked for J.L. Sale and J.P. Renzoni, prominent jewellers in Dawson. After these men moved out of the Klondike, Jeanneret operated his own jewellery business.
