Joseph J. Joyal (1870 – 1916)
	
Joseph Joyal was born in Montreal. Quebec. He joined the North-West Mounted Police in 1901 and served for six years. He left the Force in Whitehorse and worked as a tailor. Joyal enlisted for service in the First World War in October 1916. He trained at Willows Camp in Victoria, British Columbia and died there of heart failure.
