Peter Johnston
	
Peter Johnston is member of the Teslin Yanyedi clan and leadership runs in his family. His father was chief of the Teslin Tlingit First Nation for almost fifteen years and Peter was chief of the Teslin Tlingit Council from 2009 to 2012.((Ashley Joannou, “Peter Johnston named as next grand chief.” //Yukon New//s (Whitehorse), 3 June 2016.)) He worked as co-chair of the Council of Yukon First Nation’s (CYFN) education advisory committee and hosted education summits. He was again acclaimed as Grand Chief for another three years in June 2019.
