J. H. Langley J.H. Langley and C. F. Boutillier applied for separate 400' waterfront leases just above the telegraph office at Lower Laberge. Boutillier also applied for a 300' lease on the other side of the river. Langley pulled his steamer up to the site in the winter of 1911-12 with plans to build barges and store freight. Boutillier also constructed ways and had the //Evelyn// and the //Delta// pulled up during the same winter. These private leases were given up the next year.((Mike Rourke, //Yukon River: Marsh Lake to Dawson City.// Houston, B.C.: Rivers North Publications, 1997: 78.))
