Thomas A. LePage (1882 - 1918) Thomas Lepage was born in Switzerland. He immigrated to Canada and worked as a gardener in Victoria at the Empress Hotel. He married in 1917 and signed on in the spring of 1918 as a steward for the White Pass & Yukon Route on the steamer //Dawson.// He wanted to put some money down on a house in Victoria. The job paid $170 a month and keep. Many crew members from the Yukon River fleet were going out of the Yukon at that time.
