Al Mundson There were thirty-five men wintering on Indian River and Quartz Creek in 1894 and Tom Kittleson and Al Mundson were among them. Mundson was with Robert Henderson when they discovered gold at Gold Bottom in the Klondike drainage, and Ray Stewart credits Mundson rather than Henderson for that find.((Yukon Archives, V. Faulkner MSS 135 83/50 f.4. Conversation with Ray Stewart at age 84.))
