Daphne Mennell Before moving to the Yukon, Daphne Mennell lived in Toronto, Montreal, Banff, and Smithers as well as the Bahamas and Wales. She was drawn to the territory decades ago by the prospect of teaching at an alternative high school in Carcross. Mennell has paintings in public and private collections and has exhibited her work in solo and group shows.
