Emma Miller, nee Skistad
	
Emma Miller was raised in Dawson. Her parents Nels and Alice Skistad owned the Arlington Roadhouse.(("The Colourful Five Per Cent: Arlington Roadhouse information." //Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 4 January 2002.)) Emma Skistad received on-the-job- training in elementary education in Dawson for a year and then travelled to Wernecke to teach school in 1932. She was well liked and accepted.
