Lyall Murdoch (1948 – 2024) Lyall Murdoch was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to parents Grace and Alex Murdoch. He grew up in Surrey, British Columbia and moved to the Yukon in 1968. He co-founded the Frantic Follies in 1970 and was a pillar of the Yukon arts community as a performer, writer, director, actor, musician, stage manager, and business manager.((“Lyall Murdoch.” //Yukon News// (Whitehorse), 25 October 2024.)) Lyall is survived by his wife Jean, children Nicole and Greg, and brother Laurie.
