Peter Menzies Peter Menzies moved to Dawson in 1981 and since then has made ongoing and substantial contributions as a community builder. He worked as an industrial arts teacher in Carmacks and Dawson and is known for his ability to provide meaningful educational experiences. He expanded music education along the North Klondike Highway and founded a society that brought music teachers and an instrument lending library to several Yukon communities.
