Ruth Massie
	
Ruth Massie served as chief of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council (TKC) from 2004 to 2009. She was grand chief of the Council of Yukon First Nations from 2010 to 2016. Massie was elected again as chief of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council in October 2024 and Michelle Telep was elected as deputy chief. TKC has outgrown its administration building, and have a plan to build a new one. The First Nation is also embarking on a project to build townhouses for its citizens in the Whistle Bend subdivision.
