Malcolm McCown
	
Malcolm McCown was the owner and operator of a 3 ton, 4 wheel drive Duplex truck and operated a freight service between Mayo and the mines. McCown and Clem Sinyard developed the Calumet claims just above Elsa on Galena Hill.((Yukon Archives, Bill Hare fonds 82/418 #6783, Photo caption list.))  ‘Soapy' McCown and Sinyard owned and prospected Hector. McCown left Mayo in 1939 to prospect in Nevada. In the 1930s, Sinyard struck high grade ore and started to ship from the claim.((Linda E.T. MacDonald and Lynette R.
