John W. Needham
	
Jack Needham was promoted to purser on the steamer //Whitehorse// in August 1944. He succeeded purser G.D. Edwards who was transferred to the steamer //Keno.//((//The Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 25 August 1944.)) 
Jack and his wife purchased the Kee Bird Store in Whitehorse and operated it until the late 1960s when they retired to Kelowna.
