Takesi Nosaka (1856 - 1905)
	
Takeshi Nosaka was born in Tsu Wa No, Shi Ma Ne Province in Japan. He is buried in the Dawson Hillside Public Cemetery and the grave is marked with a tall wooden obelisk. The inscription was translated during the restoration of Nosaka’s marker in 2001 and describes where Takeshi was born.((Ed and Star Jones, “Asians in Yukon.” Santa Fe, New Mexico.
